Matheus Bastos is an NYC based cinematographer with roots in independent narrative filmmaking. His work has screened at top film festivals including the Cannes Film Festival, Directors’ Fortnight, SXSW, Tribeca, Fantastic Fest, Sitges, Raindance and more. He’s a member of IATSE Local 600 International Cinematographers Guild and was recently named one of American Cinematographers Rising Stars of Cinematography 2026.

Matheus has dual citizenship in the United States and Brazil, and is available to travel worldwide.
